Another hazing victim in Bulan, Sorsogon gets hospitallized

Another hazing victim of Tau Gamma Phi Bulan Chapter was rushed to a hospital this morning, joining a fellow neophyte Alfred Trinidad who was earlier confined at Dr. Fernando Duran Sr. Memorial Hospital due to injuries. 
Olaf Gotladera, Bulan Municipal Councilor in his post, have identified the second patient as James Servando Almosara of Zone 2 Pier Uno. 
The same hazing incident claimed the life of criminology student Omer Despabiladeras 23, who was declared dead-on-arrival at the Bulan District Hospital on Sunday afternoon, February 16, 2020.
Almosara, Trinidad and Despabiladeras belong to the batch of 17 neophytes who proceeded to an initiation rites at Sitio Banase, San Vicente village that started in the morning last Sunday.
Later in the afternoon, Despabiladeras collapsed which prompted the frat members to rush him to Pantaleon Gotladera Memorial District Hospital.
The Bulan Municipal Police Station put into custody two (2) frat members following the incident. 
Major Joel Trinanes, Bulan Police Chief said that they are now locating other neophytes and frat members to shed light on what transpired during the initiation rites that resulted to the death of one person and hospitalization of two other neophytes. 
In other development, Sorsogon Provincial Board in its regular session last Monday has approved a resolution to urge the school administrators and police in Sorsogon to have a dialogue regarding the important provisions of Republic Act 11053 otherwise know as the Anti-Hazing Law.#
