Castilla To Implement Lockdown

Municipality wide lockdown is to be implemented later at 12:00 midnight in Castilla, Sorsogon, Mayor Isagani Mendoza confirms today.

“Effective midnight today (Friday) we will implement the lockdown in Castilla. This is in compliance with President Rodrigo Duterte’s order to LGUs to prevent the spread of corona virus disease 2019.” Mendoza said.

He said they are going to close all entry and exit points in Castilla and asks everyone to cooperate.

“This time is the most effective way to prevent the spread of the corona virus not when local transmission have already occured.” The mayor said.

Mendoza said he will issue the directives within the day.#
