Sorsogon Records 6 New Cases, 1 Death From COVID-19
The new cases are from Sorsogon City (3 females and 2 males) and Bulan (female).
According to DOH all of them were isolated in government facilities as of reporting.
DOH Bicol also reported 1 COVID-19 death from Sorsogon, the 28th recorded death in the region.
The 4th death in Sorsogon is a 78 year-old female from Castilla, who died last August 14 from community acquired pneumonia, a COVID-19 suspect.
Total cases of COVID-19 in Sorsogon now reached 80 while 41 recovered and 4 died.
DOH appeals to everyone to “take necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus.”
