Rebel Returnee Shot Dead in Casiguran

A 34 year old rebel returnee was shot dead 1:45 pm today in a cockpit arena in Colambis, Casiguran, Sorsogon.

In his post, Board member Edmundo Atutubo identified the victim as Antonio Benzon Jr., married and resident of Sta Cruz, Casiguran, Sorsogon

Reports bare that the victim was approached and fired upon by two unidentified gunmen while eating outside the cockpit arena. 

At the first outburst, the victim tried to escaped but the perpetrators did not gave him a bit of chance, shot him until he falls down. Victim suffered multiple gunshot.

The police and SOCO are now conducting investigation.
