Buenavista Elementary School in Sorsogon West Puts Up A Kindness Station

By: Irma A. Jacobs

Sorsogon City - As part of the Three Acts of Goodness project that Buenavista Elementary School, in Sorsogon City west district has been advocating, School Principal Rowan Celestra said, “This time as a humanitarian way of sharing we have  put up the Kindness Station in our school in partnership with Caritas Sorsogon, Diocese of Sorsogon through Ms Jing Rey Henderson.”

“This project aims to reach out to those families in our barangay who are now greatly affected by the Enhanced Community Quarantine due to COVID-19 pandemic, particularly those who are daily wage income earners as they are not able to go out to earn a living." Celestra said.

The  Kindness Station is following the rule of how an Honesty Store is being operated.

Those who need food will only take what they need without taking more and leave something for others, while those who have can also share .

Celestra together with Mari Cris and some of the members of the Three Acts of Goodness Team are seeking for kindhearted individuals / patrons to share and be part of this very laudable undertaking by sharing and making this world a better place to live amidst this trying times.

The Three Acts of Goodness is anchored on three beliefs: Do Good Deeds, Speak Good Words and Think Good Thoughts.

Amidst this trying times let us all remember to practice the Thee Acts of Goodness!
