Hit by Innova, Ran Over by Trailer Truck, Irosin Rider Met Horrifying Death
A motorcycle rider died after accidentally hit by a vehicle and ran over by a trailer truck in San Pedro, Irosin, Sorsogon 7PM Saturday night May 23, 2020.
According to the police report, victim Joan Futo 24, single of Burnavista, Irosin is testing his motorcycle after a quick fix, when it suddenly accelarated towards the southbound lane of the highway, hit by approaching Toyota Innova driven by Darwin Estrella of Las Piñas City and drag the motorcycle by 71 meters from the point of collision.
Futo was thrown away and fell by the opposite lane where he was unfortunately ran over by another vehicle, a Trailer Truck driven by Rogelio Palayo of Guinobatan, Albay.
People nearby brought the victim to Irosin District Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Drivers involved are now in police custody for disposition. #
